An oomfy represents and is inspired by real orphaned wild animals, affectionately called Oomfies- baby toys animals. The name comes from the sound a baby animal makes when hungry; they’ll often nudge the hand of their caretaker and call oomf, oomf, oomf. Each product is accompanied by a 24 page board book that tells the animal’s true story.

Oomfy Corp ensures that safety is built into every product. Made without pellets, button eyes, and toxic materials. All of their toys are tested at independent labs and exceed standards set by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. 

The Baby Plush Oomieis are made from non-toxic Azo-free polyester, stuffed with recycled polyester fiber filling, and machine washable. Little ones will love each charming and true oomfy story captured in brightly colored educational books.
 
Funding/Finance comes from the sale of stuffed animals, and other products, that represent the orphaned animals and their stories.

The EDWC oversees a region of South Africa with over one million children in its K-12 school system. The region is economically poor with more than 50% of the children living in poverty. The books are used for literacy improvement projects.

    I found my new favorite baby shower/birthday gift in Oomfy plush!

    Not only is the product adorable and high quality, but the company donates money to protect orphaned wildlife. I've purchased organic plush before at higher prices and they didn't have a profit share program.

    I will definitely buy again whenever I need a gift for baby...or kids for that matter {my 10-year old loves the blue elephant!}
